What is it?
Extracurricular activities are activities performed by students that fall outside the realm of the normal curriculum of school or university education. They’re a great way to have fun, make new friends, learn about yourself, and open the door to possible future careers.
Why is it needed?
The advantages of extracurricular activities for the students are gains in motivation, independence and a real sense of enjoyment and fun. Unlike in classes, every student that does these extracurricular activities has chosen to be there.
Extra curricular activities help learn skills in areas that are not covered in the academic programmes.It also helps to identify and develop your potential. It will also assist you later when you decide what major you will do at higher levels of your Education and can also be useful later in life.
