Introduction to clay - 6 weeks

Adult cost: $190.00 
A six week class in basic clay techniques with an opportunity to try the potter's wheel. Make decorative tiles, garden art, original kitchenware and more. Let your imagination run wild with clayspace staff support and assistance. Fee includes instruction, open studio time, use of studio glazes & clay tools, firing, and a bag of clay.
 
Potter's wheel class - 6 weeks
Class start date: 07/23/2008
Time: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Adult cost: $190.00 
A six week class on the potter's wheel again. Learn basic throwing techniques or expand your current skills. Classes are small, allowing for lots of personal instruction. Fee includes class instruction, open studio time, use of studio tools & glazes, firing, and a bag of clay.

Parent-child hand building - 4 weeks
Class start date: 07/11/2008
Time: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Adult cost: $120.00
A parent-child clay class taught by local ceramic artist & OSU graduate Leslie Sells. Participants will have an opportunity to create an original tea set out of clay. The final class will include a tea party. Fee covers 4 classes & materials. The class will be offered again the second week of July.

Directions - Clayspace is located in the Brewery District at 831 S. Front St, just north of Whittier. Parking is available on Front St and behind the studio on Bank St.
