Kala Netrii, the School of Arts at Vadapalani, has bagged entry into AVM Group to establish different activities which would provide a one roof solution not only to the students and enthusiasts of AV Meiyappan Matriculation School but also to those in the neighbourhood during weekends.

Chess Academy - It nurtures and trains talent right from the age of four. The Academy is affiliated to Chennai District Chess Association. Also, the Academy floats a Chess Club to the neighbourhood through memebership for chess enthusiasts.

Language Academy - The Academy has a course that suit students who want to enhance their personality. English Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit and foreign languages like French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese are planned in the initial phase.

Art & Drawing - The Academy handles drawing and painting courses from the basic level to advanced levels through experts rich in exoperience and global exposure. Different types of paintings, arts and crafts shall be taught during weekends.

The Academy focuses on teaching, training, exhibitions and sale of products created by the students of the Institution and would even extend help to the students on entrepreneurships.
