A graded artiste for the Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram Doordarshan for both Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattom, Devika has performed for festivals organised by the Central Sangeeth Nataka Akademy, Delhi; Kerala Tourism, ICCR and the India Habitat Centre, Delhi.

She has also staged performances for various fine arts associations abroad. Devika has also conducted workshops and has been invited by various universities for lec-dems and paper presentations.

Devika's fulfillment as a dancer lies not in the scale of her achievements but in her continuous zeal to learn and research more about an art form she has loved ever since she took that first step on the dance floor at the age of four.

While in school, Devika was awarded the Outstanding Junior Citizen of Palakkad District by the Junior Chamber of Commerce. She has been awarded scholarships by the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademy.

She has won the Kalathilakom title at the school and college youth festival competitions at the state and University levels and was conferred the Nrittamayuri title by the Lions Club in Palakkad. She was awarded the Miss Event title for the management meet held at Hindustan Engineering College, Madras University, 1998.

Devika has Masters degree in Business Administration (gold medallist from Madras University in 1998) and a Masters degree in performing arts (gold medallist, Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkatta in 2000).
